Terms of Service

By accessing or using 12 Stars Edu App — including the web portal and mobile applications — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• "Service" — the 12 Stars Edu App web portal, mobile applications, and related services provided by 12 Stars Solutions
• "School" — the educational institution that has contracted to use the Service and provisions user accounts
• "Authorized User" — any individual (administrator, teacher, student, parent, or staff) granted access by the School
• "12 Stars Solutions" — the company that develops and operates 12 Stars Edu App

Accounts are issued by your School for authorized users only. You must keep login credentials confidential and notify your School immediately of any unauthorized access. Student accounts, including for minors, are provisioned by the School — not self-registered. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minor children's use of the Service.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the platform or use it for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to bypass security controls or access unauthorized data
• Upload malicious content, malware, or harmful code
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users
• Interfere with the operation or availability of the Service

School policies on conduct and academic integrity apply to all use of the Service.

Educational records, assignments, and content uploaded by Schools and Authorized Users remain subject to School ownership policies. By uploading content, you grant 12 Stars Solutions a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.

The 12 Stars Edu App software, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property are owned by 12 Stars Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No license is granted except as expressly stated in these Terms or your School's agreement with 12 Stars Solutions.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and push notification providers). 12 Stars Solutions is not responsible for the practices of third-party services, though we select providers with appropriate data protection standards.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect service availability. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned downtime where practicable.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, 12 Stars Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Your School's agreement with 12 Stars Solutions governs support, liability caps, and data handling obligations where applicable.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 12 Stars Solutions, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

Your School may revoke your access at any time. 12 Stars Solutions may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable under your School's agreement with 12 Stars Solutions. Where no such agreement specifies jurisdiction, disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of India. Schools and Authorized Users should refer to their institutional agreement for specific dispute resolution procedures.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by your School. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
